Photos: Dougherty Dance Theater holds workshop on Afro-Cuban dance for students

The Dougherty Dance Theater held a workshop Feb. 1, 2014 in the UO Gerlinger Annex. Dance instructor Kati Hernandez, who has taught dance all over the world, guided students through a series traditional routines found in Afro-Cuban folkloric dance, Rumba, and Cuban Salsa. Drummers, Miguel Bernal and Bobby Wilmore, also accompanied Hernandez during the workshop. The event gave people from the local community the opportunity to participate in an unforgettable cultural experience.
