Coming off a 16-8 finish from the 2013 season, the Ducks opened their 2014 season with a doubleheader against the PSU Vikings and Eastern Washington Eagles in the Student Tennis Center in Eugene, Ore. on Friday, Jan. 17. The Ducks opened last season against the Vikings, beating them 7-0 in Eugene. Three of the Ducks’ six singles players from that match return to the team this season, and Oregon senior Robin Cambier stands eight wins shy of becoming the program’s winningest singles player of all time.
