The 21st Alamo Bowl features the No. 10 Oregon Ducks vs. the Texas Longhorns. Texas (8-4) is looking to send off its iconic coach with a win after 16-year veteran Mack Brown announced his resignation after the Bowl game. The Ducks (10-2) are playing in their first non-BCS game in five years, but are hoping for a fifth consecutive season with at least 11 victories and a top 10 ranking. While the game sold out in record time, Oregon fans are expected to be few and far between as the 1,600 mi. trek to San Antonio during the holidays proved less than ideal for Ducks. Oregon will be competing in their brand-new Nike uniforms in white, as they are the visitor against the Longhorns.
