Wisconsin beat the Minnesota 20-7 on Saturday at TCF Bank Stadium.
The Badgers improved to 9-2 — 6-1 in the Big Ten — with the win and claimed Paul Bunyan’s Axe for a 10th consecutive time. The Gophers dropped to 8-3 and 4-3 in the Big Ten.
Wisconsin outgained Minnesota 324-185 in the game, recovered three fumbles and did not allow an offensive touchdown.
Wisconsin running back James White rushed for 125 yards and a touchdown while quarterback Joel Stave was 16-for-26 with 127 yards and a touchdown through the air.
