The Cougars believe they were a few plays away from defeating Louisville on Saturday. A focus in practice is correcting the small details like a missed assignment in pass protection or a dropped pass that kept them from completing big plays that could have changed the game. The team has also simplified its offensive scheme, said offensive coordinator Doug Meacham. UH has a chance to play better offaces Cincinnati on Saturday at 11 A.M. at BBVA Compass Stadium.
