The Minnesota Department of Health is warning Southeast Como residents of potentially harmful vapors that may be seeping into homes and buildings.
The department sent letters to residents Wednesday to alert them of an ongoing investigation, according to a press release.
The soil vapor being analyzed is TCE, or trichloroethylene, and was used as an industrial solvent at a former General Mills facility on Hennepin Avenue in the mid-1900s, the press release said.
