On Thursday evening, some 350 students packed in the EMU Ballroom for the first annual Rocky Horror Picture Show screening hosted by Ducks After Dark. The cult movie classic has only gained in popularity since its release in 1975, and it retains the distinction of being the longest-running theatrical release in film history. It gained notoriety as a midnight movie in 1977 when audiences began participating with the film in theaters, and University students did not disappoint with their creative costumes.
Ducks After Dark announced plans to continue the tradition of screening the movie every Halloween in the EMU Ballroom.
