For Mundt, this simply caps off a memorable weekend. While Mundt is still trying to grasp all of the national attention he has received, his 121 yards and two touchdowns were something that could not be ignored. His total yardage marked the ninth-most in a single game by a tight end at Oregon and was the most since Ed Dickson recorded 148 yards on 11 catches vs. California in 2009.

In addition to the aforementioned stats, Mundt’s 57-yard reception also holds as the longest pass play for the Ducks thus far in the season. The Tennessee game was  just his third college game of his career and was also his first ever start. A mid-season award watch list will be announced on Oct. 14.
