Day three is the first day full of finals for the NCAA Track and Field Championships.
Oregon fans should watch for:
— Women’s 100-meter dash finals. English Gardner will race at 5 p.m.
Gardner is battling through a leg injury that cost her a spot in the 200-meter dash finals during the prelims on Thursday. She is projected to win this event.
— Women’s 800-meter final. Laura Roesler runs at 5:20 p.m.
Roseler is projected to finish near the top in this one.
— Men’s 800-meter final. Elijah Greer runs at 5:30 p.m.
Greer could win this one.
— Women’s 400-meter dash final. Phyllis Francis runs at 5:55 p.m.
Francis will aim to score high for the Ducks here, especially if Gardner’s injury prevents her from a earlier win.
— Women’s 5,000-meter final. Jordan Hasay begins at 6:15 p.m.
The last race of this storied Oregon runner’s career.
