The Big Ten preseason awards were issued Thursday at the conference’s 2010 Media Day in Chicago.

The voter panel projected Michigan State, Ohio State and Purdue to finish the 2010-11 campaign as the Big Ten’s top three teams.

Michigan State guard Kalin Lucas was voted Preseason Player of the Year and was joined by Illinois’ Demetri McCamey, Purdue’s JaJuan Johnson and E’Twaun Moore and Wisconsin’s Jon Leuer on the Preseason All-Big Ten team.
