LaToya Evans
People Magazine, Glamour
Her ambition helped her score internships everywhere from Vogue to Vanity Fair
What others are saying...
Jessica Cruel, fellow writer for UNC's Kaleidoscope Magazine
There are very few people in this world who will sacrifice themselves in order to uplift others, especially someone as involved as Ms. LaToya Evans. LaToya gives herself fully to every organization in which she is a member. By doing so, she has also touched the minds and hearts of many of her fellow students and future journalism colleagues.
Upon first meeting Ms. Evans, I must admit I was intimidated. As a freshman, this senior seemed everything I aspired to be - poised, determined, and intelligent. These character traits along with her experience in the field make her the ideal mentor. She has taken me under her wing and given me essential advice on being successful in the cut-throat magazine industry. It was her guidance that led to my opportunities for internships and writing positions on campus.

LaToya has been very active in the field of magazine journalism and has spent a great deal of her college experience working with magazines and teaching other students how to achieve their dream jobs in magazines. She has truly been an inspiration.

You're hanging with your roommate, talking about how you're both single when she gets an IM and asks for some privacy. As you leave the room, paranoia sets in -- is she talking about you? Guess again. Chances are, she might be having cyber sex.
Sexing Your Ex

It's official: the holidays are over, and you're back at school. No more dodging high school exes, dealing with a flood of new calls at the beginning of the year from would-be sex partners wanting to "check" on you, or ducking in the mall when you see that one person from home who your heart still jumps for.

When I packed my bags the week before last for New York, a Vogue internship and whatever may come, I had to make sure that they were not overweight this time.
